Biography
Samantha DeRuvo is an Associate at Mitchell Sandler. Her practice is focused on litigation and labor and employment matters.
Samantha’s experience includes representing Fortune 500 corporations in litigation involving securities and derivatives transactions, board mismanagement, government investigations, internal investigations, breach of contract, and labor and employment disputes.
Before joining the firm, Samantha was a litigation associate at Dechert LLP in New York where she represented clients in complex commercial disputes before federal and state courts and represented clients in internal investigations and government investigations involving the DOJ, SEC, FINRA, and CFTC.
Distinctions
In 2021, the Legal Aid Society awarded Samantha the 2021 Pro Bono Publico award for her work representing foster children in a class action suit against various agencies in New York State for their unconstitutional parental disqualification policies.
