Biography
Conor C. O'Shaughnessy is an associate focused on commercial litigation and appeals. His practice covers complex state and federal litigation in New York and New Jersey, spanning real estate development matters, industry-specific disputes, and general commercial litigation such as breach of contract and partnership claims. Conor's work includes legal research, discovery, drafting pleadings and motion papers, advising clients on strategy, and assisting in court hearings and trial proceedings, through appeal.
Prior to entering private practice, Conor clerked for the Honorable Margaret M. Foti in the Criminal Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Bergen County, and interned for the Honorable Zahid N. Quraishi, then U.S.M.J., in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Conor is a 2022 cum laude graduate of Rutgers Law School, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Rutgers Law Record. He earned his B.A. in Psychology from Tufts University. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey, the Eastern District of New York, and the Southern District of New York. Conor was named a New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star for Commercial Litigation in 2026.
