Biography

Alexander Rogosa is an experienced member of Mitchell Sandler’s litigation practice group. He is a gifted advocate and negotiator working on behalf of corporations and individual representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants. He is well versed in a wide range of practice areas including financial litigation, breach of contract, construction, real estate, and employment litigation, as well as international matters.  Alexander also provides corporate advising for both publicly traded companies and small businesses, which includes managing nationwide third-party litigation and enforcement proceedings to protect company interests.

Alexander litigates before state and federal courts across the country, in addition to arbitration panels. He is particularly experienced in the District of Columbia and Maryland where he has secured substantial verdicts on behalf of his clients both in damages and equitable relief. He has also briefed appeals in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.

Professional and Community Activities

Alexander resolved to become an attorney at an early age, drawn to the opportunity to fight for his clients’ rights and prove their position in Court. He is passionate that every client deserves the best representation and has been awarded both the George Washington Pro Bono Service Award and the Presidential Volunteer Service Award. He has a talent for explaining the intricacies of the legal process to clients of all experience levels while keeping them informed throughout their case.

Distinctions

Alexander was recognized as a Merit Scholar every year while obtaining his juris doctorate at the George Washington University Law School and his Bachelor of Arts at Emory University. Alexander served as an editor on the nationally recognized, Federal Circuit Bar Journal. He was published by the journal in 2015 for his analysis of the bid protest by SpaceX against United Launch Alliance, which redefined the space industry and ushered in the privatization of space exploration.
