Law360: A Mortgage Lender’s Guide to State Licensing Overhaul

The Conference of State Bank Supervisors' Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and website rolled out some significant changes on Sept. 20 that affect state-licensed mortgage lenders, including an overhaul of the system's resource center and user experience.

More changes, such as Mortgage Call Report Version 7, are on the horizon. Two changes stand out as requiring careful attention and planning from mortgage lenders.
